Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Technology & Engineering

  • Lead end-to-end development of backend systems, platforms, and APIs
  • Design scalable, high-performance, and reliable system architecture
  • Ensure clean, maintainable, and efficient code practices

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers
  • Drive engineering best practices and code quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, operations, business)

Platform & Product Development

  • Build and enhance core product platforms
  • Implement scalable microservices architecture
  • Drive DevOps practices and CI/CD implementation

Data & Automation

  • Work on data pipelines, analytics, and reporting systems
  • Support automation initiatives within logistics operations
  • Contribute to AI/ML-driven solutions (preferred)

Infrastructure & Performance

  • Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Ensure system scalability, security, and performance optimization

Requirements

Experience

  • 6–10 years in software engineering and system design
  • Strong experience in building scalable backend systems or SaaS products
  • Prior experience in startup or high-growth environments preferred

Technical Skills

  • Backend development (Java / Python / Node.js)
  • Microservices & API architecture
  • Cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
  • Databases (SQL & NoSQL)
  • DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Data engineering & analytics (good to have)

Leadership Skills

  • Experience in leading or mentoring engineering teams
  • Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
