About This Role

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who ships fast, thinks clearly, and solves real problems. No fluff. No red tape. Just strong engineers building software that matters.


What You'll Do

  • Own features end-to-end — from backend API design to frontend implementation to production
  • Write clean, scalable, maintainable code across the full stack
  • Identify and fix performance and reliability bottlenecks in both frontend and backend
  • Work closely with product, design, and ops to ship pragmatically
  • Make informed technical decisions about when to go deep vs. when to keep it simple


Tech Stack

Backend (Key Focus)

  • FastAPI — you'll build APIs with this daily
  • Pydantic — data validation and serialization is critical
  • Postgres

Frontend

  • React, Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • Zustand, Tailwind CSS


What You Bring

  • 8-10+ years of hands-on engineering experience across full stack development
  • Strong depth in Python/Go AND TypeScript/JS — not just "familiar" with both
  • Solid experience with FastAPI and Pydantic — you know these tools deeply
  • Experience building and scaling production systems — you understand tradeoffs between backend and frontend
  • Sharp problem-solving skills — frameworks are tools, not the point
  • Clear communicator with low ego, high ownership
  • Able to juggle priorities without hand-holding — from database schema design to UI polish


Nice to Have

  • Experience with AWS, infra, or performance optimization
  • Strong opinions on system design (and the ability to defend them)
  • Experience with database optimization and query performance
  • Side projects or open-source work you're proud of
  • Understanding of both relational and non-relational data patterns
  • Familiarity with SQLAlchemy (nice to have, not a blocker)
