Job Description

Position – Data Engineer

Location – Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai

Total Experience – 8+ Years

Domain / Vertical – Insurance / Accounting

Qualifications – B.Sc / M.Sc / BCA / MCA in IT or Computer Science

****Pyspark is Mandatory****

Relevant Experience

5+ years of core experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or Business Intelligence.
Mandatory: Deep expertise in Azure Databricks and PySpark.
Extensive experience with Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold), Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
Proficiency in scheduling and orchestrating workflows using Databricks Workflows.
Strong knowledge of Python and SQL.
Experience in Spark performance tuning (partitioning, caching, broadcast joins).

Mandatory Skills:

• Exposure to the full data engineering and analytics development life cycle

• Experience managing Data Projects

• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and PySpark

• Experience with Databricks Workflows (job scheduling and orchestration)

• Strong knowledge of Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold)

• Experience working with Delta Lake and Unity Catalog

• Experience with SQL Server is advantageous

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Power BI or Databricks SQL for reporting and analytics

• Understanding of data visualization and analytics reporting concepts
