Senior Cost Estimator

We have an opening for the position of DCO Manager for our Mumbai location.

Job Profile:

Preparing Budget for MEP packages, Prepare the Rate Master and update the rates time to time based on market conditions, to evaluate the Tenders received from Design, conduct periodical techno-commercial Audits for defined Projects and Value Engineering .

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with various design cells and the estimation package teams.
• Review Design Development Packages and explore further need for cost optimization across various packages and value engineering options feasible.
• Ensure confirmation of adherence to various policies and norms while review of tenders.
• Ensure timely and accurate review of tenders and release it to procurement for further process.
• Assist in preparation of Concept, DD budgets and CTC budgets. Provide inputs on variation in Concept Design vs. DD Design and cost implication thereto.
• Maintain active communication with various departments like Design, Procurement & Construction Management.
• Obtain the market rates and prepare rate analysis for all the items and update the Rate Master periodically.
• Prepare the database of the market rates, monitor the trends, and update the same time to time.
• Conduct techno-commercial audits for post contract works and suggest improvements in the process to avoid irregularities/mistakes.

Qualification: B.E. (Electrical/Mechanical)
