Job Description

The Continental Senior CDP / Junior Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in daily Continental kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food quality, hygiene standards, cost control, and smooth team coordination. The role contributes to maintaining culinary excellence, operational efficiency, and adherence to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Chef in supervising kitchen operations, staff allocation, and service flow; act in charge during absence.
  • Ensure preparation and presentation of Continental dishes as per standard recipes and quality benchmarks.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and compliance
  • Support inventory management, cost control, stock rotation, and wastage reduction.
  • Train and guide kitchen staff on SOPs, recipes, hygiene, and performance improvement.
  • Coordinate with other departments for smooth operations, events, and special menus.
  • Handle additional responsibilities as directed by the manager.
  • Adhere to and implement all company policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador by ensuring consistent brand representation and integrity.
