About The Role

We are the GSA for Maldivian Cargo, managing air freight operations in Trivandrum (TRV) and Cochin (COK). We are not looking for a "supervisor" who sits behind a desk and escalates problems. We need a Hands-on Operations Lead—a doer who owns the shipment lifecycle and ensures everything moves from the warehouse to the aircraft without drama.

This is a purely operational role. Our Sales HQ handles the bookings; your mission is to ensure every kilo of accepted cargo is cleared, documented, and executed with 100% precision.

The Onboarding Journey

Month 1–2 (Training): Based at our Trivandrum Head Office. You will work directly with the Business Head and Directors to master our SOPs, internal systems, and AI-driven reporting style.
Month 3 onwards (Execution): Relocate to Cochin to run ground operations at COK while coordinating TRV remotely (with on-site visits as needed).

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Ground Operations
Seamless Execution: Bridge the gap between sales and operations. Ensure all booked cargo is accepted, screened, and uplifted on time.
Terminal Mastery: Manage GHA/terminal handovers with physical tallies and ironclad documentation. No "verbal confirmations."
Disruption Ownership: Resolve offloads, delays, or damages. You don’t just report a problem—you chase the terminal and transporters until the loop is closed.
Documentation & Compliance
Expert Coordination: Work closely with our Cochin Customs and Documentation Manager to ensure 100% compliance with airline and terminal requirements.
Error Prevention: Proactively fix paperwork issues with forwarders/CHAs before they reach the terminal to prevent rejections.
Digital & AI Integration (Mandatory)
System Integrity: Maintain real-time accuracy in Cargo Management Software and CRM (status updates, flight logs, exception tracking).
AI Productivity: Leverage AI tools (Gemini/ChatGPT/Copilot) to draft sharp operational updates, standardize SOPs, and summarize incident reports for leadership.

What We Are Looking For

Experience: 4–5 years in Air Cargo Ops (Airline, GSA, GHA, or Freight Forwarder). Deep knowledge of Kerala’s airport ecosystems (COK/TRV) is essential.
Ownership Mindset: You don’t "forward emails"—you solve problems. You are the person who ensures that if a task is set for 5 PM, it is done by 5 PM.
Tech-Forward: You are comfortable with cargo software and eager to use AI to eliminate manual drudgery.
Reliability: You are calm under pressure and high on integrity. You don't hide behind "escalations."
