oversees daily operations, staff (hiring, scheduling, training, performance), finances (inventory, sales, budgets), marketing, and customer service to ensure profitability and a positive environment, handling everything from booking and promotions to hygiene and staff development for smooth salon flow and client satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Management: Supervise daily activities, manage opening/closing, ensure hygiene/safety compliance, and maintain facility standards.Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, schedule, evaluate, and motivate stylists and beauticians; manage payroll and resolve staff conflicts.Client Services: Handle bookings, resolve complaints, ensure high service quality, and build client loyalty.Financials & Inventory: Monitor stock, order products, track sales, manage budgets, and handle transactions.Marketing: Promote services, run promotions, manage social media, and attract new clients. Required Skills & QualificationsProven management/supervisory experience in beauty/retail.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Business acumen (finance, accounting, inventory).Excellent organization, problem-solving, and time management.Familiarity with salon software and marketing.Cosmetology license (often preferred).
