Job Description
Johnson Lifts & Escalators, a pioneer in the Indian elevator and escalator industry, has been providing advanced vertical transportation solutions for over 60 years. With more than 80 branches across India and 10 international operations, the company specializes in manufacturing a wide range of lift products, from small home lifts to large-scale commercial and public utility elevators. As the first company in India to establish an escalator manufacturing facility, Johnson Lifts boasts multiple state-of-the-art plants located across the country. The company has also been producing Commercial and Heavy-Duty Escalators domestically since 2010, solidifying its position as a leader in the industry.
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Manager located in Bengaluru. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and business development activities, establishing and maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets for lifts and escalators. Key responsibilities include creating sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution. The role also includes overseeing market analysis and staying updated on industry trends to devise effective sales approaches.
- Sales and Business Development: Proven skills in sales strategy, business growth initiatives, and client acquisition.
- Client Relationship Management: Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Proficiency in market analysis and developing sales approaches based on industry trends.
- Communication and Negotiation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong negotiation abilities.
- Project Coordination: Experience in coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and quality project execution.
- Leadership and Team Management: Ability to lead and motivate sales teams to achieve targets.
- Knowledge of Elevators and Escalators industry is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is preferred but not mandatory.
