Who Are We

Raptee.HV is a full- stack electric motorcycle startup with a very strong technical moat, founded in 2019 by four engineers from Chennai (Ex Tesla, Wipro), working on bringing a no-compromise upgrade motorcycle to an otherwise scooter- only EV market. Raptee is incubated at CIIC & ARAI.

Role Overview

Looking for a hands‑on Safety & EHS Engineer who will own plant safety, all statutory and fire‑related certifications, and insurance compliance for our EV and battery operations, and continuously make our factory safer for people and equipment.

What You’ll Do

Implement and monitor EHS systems for all production and battery pack areas.
Handle all factory, fire, and related statutory certifications and renewals, including documentation, inspections, and follow‑up with authorities.
Drive high‑voltage and battery‑specific safety processes, PPE, and training.
Lead fire safety implementation, audits, and Fire Licence / Safety Certificate processes.
Coordinate with insurers and fulfil safety requirements for policies and claims.
Run safety trainings, audits, and incident investigations and lead corrective actions.
Visit government offices and departments as required to get approvals and licences completed on time.

Who Can Apply?

B.E./B.Tech in a relevant engineering discipline plus safety qualification (Industrial / Fire / Safety diploma or equivalent).
1–5 years of experience in safety/EHS, preferably in automotive, EV, or electronics manufacturing.
Practical knowledge of HV safety, factory rules, and fire norms.
Strong documentation and coordination skills, with fluency in English and Tamil.
High ownership, proactiveness, and comfort working on the shopfloor.
