Job Overview
Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical RFQ Analyst to join our Center of Excellence team. This role will support the Senior Manager/Sourcing Project Coordinator by managing the daily operations of RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes, handling supplier communications, and providing data-driven insights to improve sourcing efficiency. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, comfortable working with large datasets, and skilled in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A Day In The Life
Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical RFQ Analyst to join our Center of Excellence team. This role will support the Senior Manager/Sourcing Project Coordinator by managing the daily operations of RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes, handling supplier communications, and providing data-driven insights to improve sourcing efficiency. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, comfortable working with large datasets, and skilled in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A Day In The Life
- Plan, launch, and manage RFQ events across various categories
- Ensure RFQs are structured to capture relevant commercial, technical, and compliance data
- Manage day-to-day RFQ activities including tracking, follow-ups, and documentation.
- Interface with suppliers to clarify requirements, timelines, and expectations.
- Provide support and guidance to suppliers throughout the RFQ process.
- Collect, validate, and analyze supplier quotes to identify cost drivers, savings opportunities, and value-added offerings.
- Maintain accurate records of RFQ activities and supplier responses.
- Collaborate with Commodity Managers and the Sourcing Project Coordinator to ensure timely and accurate RFQ execution.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in RFQ workflows and communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or data analytics.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
