Budget: Upto 80K Per Month

Contract Duration: 6 Months (may get extended)

Working Time:- 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM IST

The resources need to work from the Trivandrum/Kochi office for the first week, thereafter Remote.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for 3+years experienced Automation Specialist with expertise in Retail Order Management Systems (OMS), automation frameworks, and microservices testing. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless order orchestration, system reliability, and scalability across omnichannel retail platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Retail OMS Testing

• Validate order lifecycle: capture, allocation, fulfillment, cancellation, and returns.

• Test integrations between OMS and ERP, POS, CRM, and warehouse systems.

• Ensure inventory accuracy and synchronization across channels.

Automation

• Design and implement automated test suites for regression, functional, and performance

testing.

• Leverage tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or REST API automation frameworks.

• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.

Microservices Testing

• Perform API testing (REST/GraphQL) for distributed microservices.

• Conduct contract testing (e.g., Pact) to validate service interactions.

• Apply service virtualization to simulate dependencies.

• Execute chaos and resilience testing to ensure fault tolerance.

Collaboration

• Work closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to align testing with business workflows.

• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to test strategy discussions.

PRIMARY SKILLS

• Strong knowledge of Retail OMS platforms (e.g., Manhattan, IBM Sterling, Oracle, Blue Yonder, or similar).

• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium, RestAssured, Postman, JMeter).

• Proficiency in microservices testing methodologies (API testing, contract testing, service virtualization).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

• Solid understanding of retail domain workflows (order orchestration, inventory, fulfillment).

• Programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation scripting.
