Job Description

Role: Research Analyst, Financials

Location: Mumbai

Responsibilities

This role will be a part of an India focused Fundamental Equities investment team, working closely with an experienced Senior Portfolio Manager and other team members. Key responsibilities include:

Conduct fundamental research and analysis on financials sector companies.
Develop and maintain detailed financial models.
Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and company-specific developments.
Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting the financials sector.
Participate in company meetings and industry conferences.
Collaborate with the Senior Portfolio Manager and other team members throughout the research and idea generation process.

Requirements

2-3 years of experience in equity research with a focus on financials sector (Middle East, India, ASEAN or Australia or other major markets)
Strong fundamental research capabilities especially in financial modeling
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Attention to detail and accuracy
