Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in onboarding government clients with best-in-class service standards.
- Support business generation within regulatory and risk frameworks.
- Understand client needs and sector dynamics to offer tailored banking solutions.
- Ensure timely and accurate KYC compliance and risk categorization.
- Contribute to acquiring high-value accounts through due diligence.
- Monitor client portfolios and flag early warning signals.
- Conduct credit analysis as per RBI guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Legal) to meet business goals.
- Help execute campaigns to boost customer penetration and revenue.
- Leverage market intelligence to adopt best practices.
- Maintain strong client relationships and resolve service issues.
- Drive customer satisfaction and support treasury business growth.
- Promote a customer-first culture and high service standards.
- Support hiring and retention of top talent within the team.
Education
- Graduate in any discipline
- MBA in Finance (preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Government Banking
- Strong relationship management and client servicing skills
- Understanding of government and institutional banking
- Analytical mindset with credit assessment capabilities
- Ability to work within regulatory and risk frameworks
- Fluent in English with effective collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic thinking and customer-centric approach
