Job Title: Team Lead – Medical Coding QA – IP DRG

Location: Aurangabad

Work Mode: Work from Office (Mandatory)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Medical Coding QA Team Lead who will be responsible for ensuring coding quality, conducting second-level QA audits, and managing a team of medical coders. The role involves maintaining high coding accuracy, supporting team development, and ensuring compliance with client and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform second-level QA audits on medical coding to ensure accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines.
Ensure adherence to ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and DRG coding standards.
Lead and manage a team of coders while ensuring productivity and quality targets are met.
Provide feedback, coaching, and training to team members based on audit findings.
Review coding accuracy and identify areas for improvement and corrective actions.
Prepare and share quality reports, dashboards, and client updates.
Handle client communication and reporting related to coding quality and performance.
Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards and client expectations.
Support process improvements and quality enhancement initiatives.
Maintain documentation and follow audit protocols and compliance requirements.
