Quality Assurance Developer

Position Title: Developer – QA

Experience : 3 years

Notice Period : Immediate

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Work in Agile development approach, and participate in the scoping the project and timelines
• Own the delivery and manage expectations with stakeholders for their module/application
• Work closely with architects and other team members to formulate and execute project plans
• Drive QA test suite for applications candidate is responsible for, adhering to quality standards
• Be able to work with cross functional teams consisting of developers, vendors, and business users.
• Be a self-starter who can run independently with little guidance

SPECIFICATIONS: QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & COMPETENCIES

• Solid understanding and experience in Manual and Automation Testing including for UI and API
• Experience working in Agile SDLC approach
• Strong experience in Selenium, Cucumber/Gherkin, Java/JavaScript, Regression testing, mobile app testing, cross browser testing, and DB testing
• Working knowledge of Java/J2EE development and front end technologies (Angular)
• Working knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (Postgres, CouchDB preferred) design and queries
• Working knowledge of any messaging system (KAFKA/JMS/RabbitMQ), Docker, and Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud, Kubernetes
• Clear understanding of CS Algorithms and design patterns
• Good project management skills including planning, risk management, and issue resolution
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Test banking applications (LOS, BRE, payments, APIs)
• Create and execute functional, regression, and UAT test cases
• Perform NFR testing: performance, load, reliability, and scalability
• Validate security aspects like authentication, authorization, and data privacy
• Test integrations with databases, payment gateways, and third-party services
• Log and track defects with clear impact and severity
• Work closely with developers, product, and compliance teams
• Support release sign-off and post-production validation
