QC Chemist / Quality Control Analyst – Pharmaceutical Laboratory

Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Control Analyst (QC Chemist) to join our pharmaceutical laboratory team. In this role, you will perform laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products to ensure they meet quality standards.

This position requires hands-on work with analytical instruments and following GMP and laboratory procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing using analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, Dissolution, Titration, FTIR, and other wet chemistry methods.
• Test raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples.
• Record and maintain accurate laboratory documentation and test results.
• Analyze data and report results clearly and accurately.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Follow GMP guidelines, laboratory procedures, and safety practices.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment.
• Review laboratory data and support documentation as needed.
• Support the team with additional laboratory tasks when required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or another scientific field
• Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and safety practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a laboratory environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods while performing lab work.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2–5 years of laboratory or pharmaceutical industry experience
• Experience with HPLC, GC, or analytical testing
• Experience working in a GMP regulated laboratory environment
