Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Understand product requirements and functional specifications
  • Design, develop, and execute manual test cases and test scenarios
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing
  • Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Validate fixes and ensure defects are properly resolved
  • Participate in requirement review and test planning activities
  • Ensure product quality meets defined standards before release

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience as a Manual QA Tester
  • Strong experience in product-based testing
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC
  • Experience in writing test cases, test plans, and test reports
  • Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of functional and regression testing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and API testing
  • Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, etc.) is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Ahmedabad, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Software testing: 2 years (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
