Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a motivated QA Engineer / Automation Tester Intern to ensure the quality, stability, and performance of our MERN stack applications (React, Node.js, Express.js, MySQL). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation testing, API testing, and end-to-end user flow validation, with a strong focus on business logic and real-world usage scenarios.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform automation testing for web applications using modern testing tools
  • Conduct API testing to validate request/response data, status codes, and error handling
  • Test end-to-end user flows across multiple roles (user, admin, internal teams)
  • Validate business logic and functional requirements
  • Execute manual testing where automation is not applicable
  • Write, maintain, and execute test cases and test scripts
  • Perform regression, smoke, and functional testing
  • Validate database operations in MySQL (data integrity, CRUD operations)
  • Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps
  • Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to resolve issues
  • Ensure releases meet quality standards before deployment
