QA Automation Engineer - Mid Level

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester with 3+ years of experience in testing web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Cypress and Playwright for web automation. You will work in a fast-paced agile environment to design, develop, and execute automated tests for both web and mobile applications, ensuring the highest quality software deliverables.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong focus on Cypress and Playwright for web automation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript or Java for writing automated test scripts.
• Deep understanding of web testing across different browsers and devices.
• Experience in integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, Rest-Assured, or similar.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with other web automation tools like  Protractor.
• Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or AWS Device Farm.
• Performance testing experience using tools like JMeter.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker for running test suites.
