Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in building scalable backend applications, APIs, and data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Python frameworks, database management, and cloud-based application development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Python applications
  • Develop RESTful APIs and backend services
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, DevOps, and frontend developers
  • Optimize applications for performance and scalability
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
  • Follow best coding practices and documentation standards

Required Skills Core Skills

  • Strong Python programming experience
  • Experience with Django / Flask / FastAPI
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs
  • Experience with SQL / NoSQL databases

Backend Development

  • Microservices architecture
  • API development
  • Authentication and security implementation

Database

  • PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB
  • Database design and optimization

Tools & Technologies

  • Git
  • Docker
  • CI/CD pipelines

Good to Have

  • Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP
  • Knowledge of data processing libraries (Pandas, NumPy)
  • Experience with message queues (Kafka / RabbitMQ)
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or related field
