Lead Python Developer
Location: Pune
Experience: 8–15 Years
Education: Tier-1 / Tier-2 engineering institutes preferred
About the Role
We are hiring a Lead Python Developer to work with a Generative AI startup ($45M+ funded) building a Physics-AI foundation model for semiconductor chip design used by leading global chip manufacturers.
You will work directly with the CTO and global engineering teams to design and build scalable AI-driven software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Python-based backend systems
- Build microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, and distributed systems
- Lead technical design and drive delivery in an agile environment
- Collaborate closely with global engineering teams
Required Skills
- 8–15 years of Python development experience
- Strong Data Structures, Algorithms, Networking, RDBMS
- Expertise in FastAPI / Flask / Django / SQLAlchemy
- Experience with async programming, multithreading, generators
- Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture & API design
- Experience with Cloud platforms and CI/CD
- Exposure to ReactJS / Next.js / JavaScript is a plus
- Knowledge of DevOps, test automation, and cloud infrastructure preferred
