Job Summary
The Project Scheduler & Controller is responsible for developing, monitoring, and managing project schedules for utility projects (Transmission & distribution, Substation) using Primavera (P6) and MS Project Planner. This role involves coordinating with project teams to ensure timely execution, cost control, and risk management while maintaining compliance with contractual and industry standards.

Job Summary
The Project Scheduler & Controller is responsible for developing, monitoring, and managing project schedules for utility projects (Transmission & distribution, Substation) using Primavera (P6) and MS Project Planner. This role involves coordinating with project teams to ensure timely execution, cost control, and risk management while maintaining compliance with contractual and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project Planner.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to track project progress and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Monitor project performance, identify schedule risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and analyze critical path schedules, resource allocation, and progress reports.
- Ensure cost control by tracking project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures.
- Conduct earned value analysis (EVA) and provide progress updates to management.
- Generate and distribute weekly/monthly project reports, including variance analysis and performance trends.
- Assist in change management by assessing schedule impacts of scope changes or delays.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, company standards, and industry best practices.
- Support project teams in planning, scheduling, and reporting activities to ensure on-time project delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in project scheduling and control within the oil & gas industry.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project Planner for scheduling and tracking.
- Experience in working with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) or Utility (T&D) projects is preferred.
