Project Manager - Mechanical

Direct Hire/ Permanent Placement

Monterey Park, CA

$100k - $160k, Hybrid, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), 3 weeks PTO plus Christmas-NY off, ESOP (launching soon)

Fortify Technical Staffing works with Architectural, Engineering, and Construction Firms and MEP Consultancies nationwide and I have several other clients looking to fill Hybrid positions in Southern California.

OVERVIEW

This particular client is a smaller MEP firm whose project portfolio includes: healthcare/ hospitals, multi-unit residential, education, retail, hospitality, office/ TI.

The ideal Candidate will lead and oversee mechanical construction projects. This role is responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring mechanical systems such as HVAC, piping, and plumbing are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

ROLE/ RESPONSIBILITIES

• Quality control of engineering drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders

• Client leadership and strategic oversight

• Track project progress and resolve technical or scheduling issues

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards

HIGHLY PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• BSME, BSAE or similar with 5+ years’ experience

• Revit, AutoCAD, Trane Trace, HVAC system, ductwork, and hydronic

• PE
