Your Job

As a Product Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, modeling, analysing, and characterizing high-speed connectors, cables. In this role you will provide technical expertise in connector and cable design for the exponentially growing data storage systems and telecommunications market. This is a dynamic group of highly skilled professionals that will provide an opportunity for constant learning and innovation. This role will be leading projects from ideas to high volume production. These new products drive the industry to make a big impact on our customers and their products

Our Team

We are team of 14 product design engineers belong to DSS Copper solution business unit supporting the High-speed data connectors for Data centers, Servers etc to key customers.

What You Will Do

Lead the design and development of High-speed cable connectors, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Perform detailed analysis and evaluation of product designs, utilizing tools such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA), DFM, NUDD and TA to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Follow NPI and PDP processes to develop and implement new products per industry standards on time.
You will be interfacing with professional cross functional team members in our signal integrity team, manufacturing integration team, program management, sales organization, state of the art test laboratories, high tech R&D model shop, manufacturing and senior leadership teams

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering
6-8 years’ design experience of electromechanical products, connector products
Proficient with Drafting, Wire routing, Modeling using NX Tool
Experience in DFM, DFMEA, Tolerance stack-up and Component validation & Qualification
Experience with a PLM tool, Teamcenter.

What Will Put You Ahead

Design experience with high-speed, high-density connectors, cable assemblies, and interconnect products
Design and manufacturing knowledge of plastic & Electromechanical products.
