Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Python Developer / Lead with 68 years of experience with expertise in microservices design, DevOps, and code quality practices, who can lead a team of developers, design robust solutions, and drive key technical decisions.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Python development, strong problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience with modern frameworks, tools, and best practices.

Key Skills

Architect and develop scalable microservices using Python.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
Drive code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure code quality.
Set up and maintain automated unit/integration testing frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps, Business) to deliver features end-to-end.
Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud deployments.
Manage version control best practices (Git branching strategies, code merges, release management).
Ensure performance, scalability, security, and reliability across systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and drive continuous improvement.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

Strong expertise in Python (3.x) development and object-oriented programming.
Experience with web frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Hands-on experience in microservices design.
Knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
Experience in automated unit testing & test coverage tools (PyTest, unittest, CI test automation).
Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
Experience in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
Proficiency in version control systems (Git, Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile environments.
Exposure to frontend frameworks (React/Angular) for full-stack awareness.

Preferred Skills

Understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and big data ecosystems.
Event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Observability stack (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana).
