Job Summery

The Planning Engineer will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of high-rise real estate projects through effective coordination, tracking, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare project schedules and baseline programs using MS Project for high-rise projects.

Develop detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) and activity sequencing in coordination with execution teams.

Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly project progress against planned schedules.

Identify schedule slippages, critical paths, and recommend corrective actions.

Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and MIS for management review.

Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and vendors for planning inputs.

Track resource planning, manpower deployment, and productivity analysis.

Support billing, BOQ tracking, and cash flow forecasting.

Conduct look-ahead planning (2-week / monthly) and milestone tracking.

Assist in delay analysis, claim preparation

Ensure planning data aligns with site execution and design changes.

Maintain proper planning documentation and records.

Key Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in MS Project

Strong understanding of high-rise construction sequences

Knowledge of RCC works, finishing activities, MEP coordination

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong coordination and communication abilities

Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools

Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Certification in Project Planning / SAP will be an added advantage

Experience Requirements

3–5 years of relevant planning experience in high-rise residential or commercial projects

Exposure to real estate developer projects preferred over pure contracting background
