Pay Range: $17-$19/hr.
Location: Oneonta, NY

Position Summary

The Parking Attendant is responsible for managing vehicle flow and parking operations during the summer season at Cooperstown All Star Village. This role ensures a safe, organized, and welcoming arrival and departure experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

Direct vehicles to designated parking areas in an efficient and safe manner.
Monitor parking lots to ensure proper use of spaces and maintain traffic flow.
Provide friendly assistance and directions to guests upon arrival and departure.
Assist with parking logistics and high-traffic periods.
Communicate clearly and professionally using a two-way radio.
Report safety concerns, accidents, or maintenance needs within parking areas.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of parking lots and surrounding areas.

Required

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
Ability to remain professional and courteous in high-traffic situations.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred

Previous experience in parking operations, traffic control, or customer service.
Experience working in event or hospitality environments.

Working Conditions / Special Physical Requirements

Primarily outdoor position; may be exposed to extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
