Role Overview

We are looking for college students interested in a Production Internship at LoveShackFancy. The intern will have the opportunity to learn all facets of Production; sample management, fabric and trim approvals, project management with overseas factories. They will develop a general understanding of Production & Design Development functionalities, responsibilities, and foster cross-functional relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Organizing production samples and bulk submits
• Assembling/organizing materials for overseas factories
• Opportunity to attend garment fittings
• Communicating with overseas factories
• Help arrange shipments to factories
• Working closely with team to prepare for production with overseas factories
• Assist in updating weekly WIP reports
• Help follow up with incoming samples/packages
• Liaison between factories, suppliers and production office

Skills, Qualities And Behaviors

• Organized, motivated, and armed with a can-do, positive attitude
• Able to work in our New York City office
• This role is best suited for a production management, merchandising or design student who is interested in product development and/or production.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook
