Job Description

Key Responsibilities:


1. Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Hardware & Swag: Manage procurement of laptops, networking gear, and event-specific merchandise for hackathons and bootcamps.
  • Vendor Relations: Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with vendors, service providers, and office suppliers.
  • Cost Optimization: Monitor procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.


2. IT Administration & Asset Management

  • Onboarding/Offboarding: Manage the IT setup for new joiners (laptop provisioning, access management, software credentials).
  • Software Stack: Manage licenses, subscriptions (SaaS tools), and ensure internal security protocols are followed.
  • L1 Tech Support: Act as the first point of contact for internal hardware issues, minor network troubleshooting, and basic IT maintenance.


3. Office & Event Administration

  • Facility Management: Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a smooth, productive environment.
  • Event Logistics Support: Assist with the logistical side of offline hackathons or bootcamps (e.g., coordinating courier shipments for tech hardware, event kit management).
  • Documentation: Maintain clear records of all assets, contracts, and operational processes.


The Ideal Profile:

  • Tech Literacy: You aren't just an admin; you understand hardware specs, cloud SaaS tools (Google Workspace, Slack, etc.), and how to troubleshoot basic IT issues.
  • Resourcefulness: We are a lean, fast-moving team. You find solutions, not excuses.
  • Procurement Mindset: You enjoy the hunt for the best vendor/price and understand the lifecycle of asset management.
  • Communication: You can effectively manage vendors, support internal team members, and coordinate logistical details.
