Ocean Import Operation Coordinator (US Night Shift)

As an Import Operations Coordinator, you’ll be the backbone of Beeontrade’s logistics execution—handling international air and ocean freight shipments from end to end. You will work closely with our global network, partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution, accurate documentation, and proactive customer communication. You’ll be responsible for managing files independently while contributing to a team that delivers world-class service.

• Coordinate full-cycle Ocean import shipments, from booking to final delivery, ensuring documentation is accurate and submitted on time
• Prepare and audit essential documents (HBL, MBL, AES, COO, packing lists, AWBs, invoices, arrival notices, etc.)
• Work with origin agents, customs brokers, warehouses, truckers, and steamship lines to ensure end-to-end coordination
• Monitor shipment milestones using Beeontrade’s platform and proactively communicate status updates to clients
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and overseas partners to onboard new accounts and maintain SOP compliance
• Issue timely and accurate invoices, manage cost capture, and resolve billing discrepancies
• Support customs clearance processes and collaborate with CHBs to ensure accurate declarations
• Ensure all compliance standards are met for country-specific requirements and US CBP
• Track, trace, and update internal systems with key movement data
• Act as a point of contact for client escalations, ensuring high service quality and quick issue resolution

You Should Have

• 2–5 years of direct operational experience in international air or ocean freight forwarding (export/import)
• Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, Incoterms, carrier practices, and customs clearance procedures
• Proficiency in logistics software such as CargoWise, Magaya, or similar TMS/WMS platforms
• Solid understanding of Turkish and U.S. trade lanes and export/import procedures
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail, excellent time management, and strong problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in both English and Turkish (written & spoken)
• A team-first attitude with strong interpersonal communication skills
• BA/BS degree preferred
