As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of backend services that power customer-facing applications. The role offers hands-on experience across the Node.js ecosystem, exposure to frontend integration, and the opportunity to strengthen problem-solving skills in a collaborative engineering environment.

You will be involved in feature development, system improvements, debugging, and performance optimization while learning industry best practices around secure coding, API design, and asynchronous programming. This position is well-suited for engineers who are curious, adaptable, and motivated to grow in a fast-paced technical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of backend systems
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design, implement, and test new features
• Build and consume RESTful APIs to support application functionality
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues efficiently
• Implement robust error handling and ensure application stability
• Work with Node.js frameworks such as Express to develop scalable services
• Support frontend integration with basic React-based components when required
• Follow best practices for secure coding, authentication, and authorization
• Work in Linux-based environments for development and deployment tasks
• Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends
  
  

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Node.js or MERN stack development
• Strong foundation in JavaScript and backend development concepts
• Practical experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express
• Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and API communication patterns
• Good understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven systems
• Familiarity with React or frontend integration concepts
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and write clean, maintainable code
• Exposure to authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices is a plus
• Comfortable working in Linux environments
• B.Tech or MCA from a reputed institute (IITs / NITs preferred)
