Next.JS Junior developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated Junior Next.js Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of modern JavaScript, React fundamentals, and server-side rendering concepts. You will work closely with senior developers to build scalable, high-performance web applications using Next.js.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and improve front-end features using Next.js and React.
• Implement responsive and user-friendly UI components.
• Work with APIs (REST/GraphQL) to integrate backend services.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product teams.
• Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing application performance.
• Learn and work with SSR, SSG, and Next.js routing structure.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Next.js and React.js.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
• Familiar with modern front-end tools (npm, yarn, Git, VS Code).
• Understanding of server-side rendering and static site generation.
• Knowledge of responsive design and basic UI/UX principles.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, Agile environment.
• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.

Preferred (Good to Have)

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Knowledge of Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or other UI frameworks.
• Exposure to API integration, authentication (OAuth/JWT), or state management (Redux/Zustand).
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Vercel, Netlify).
• Interest in SEO, Next.js Image Optimization, and performance tuning.
