JD for MSSQL DBA for SME Level

Qualification - Graduate / B.E. / M.C.A with relevant certification.

• Minimum 6 years of Experience in Cloud and Data Architect with Database engineering/designing/Modeling, Administration, Configuration Management, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and Cloud Implementations.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in large database Migration from On Prem to Azure VM, SQL Managed Instance and AWS EC2 and RDS.
• Hands on experience in Azure Development and implementation, worked on Azure web application, VNet, App services, Azure storage, Azure SQL Database, Virtual machines, Fabric controller, Azure AD, Azure search as well as AWS EC2 and RDS.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud Services (PaaS, IaaS and SaaS),
• Good experience on SQL database assessment, DMA, DMS and SSMA and Shell Scripting.
• MSSQL HA setup[Cluster & Always-on] on IAAS in cloud Azure, GCP & AWS.
• Experienced in setup & managing of Azure SQL single instance with DTU, Elastic Pool setup, Azure Managed Instance.
• Tuning, Backup/Recovery and troubleshooting SQL Server 2019/2017.
• Expertise in administration of high availability solutions like Cluster, AlwaysOn Mirroring, Log Shipping and Replication with experience in Cloud Exposure.
• Extensive experience with Database administration activities like, Capacity Planning, Backup/Restore strategy, Optimization, Performance Monitoring, Index Optimization, Integrity Check, Data Migration, Patching and upgrade for Clustered and non-clustered environment.
• Developed methodologies for cloud migration, implemented best practices and helped to develop backup and recovery techniques for applications and database on virtualization platform.
• Designed, developed, and implemented Cloud Service projects and deployed to Azure cloud using PaaS and IaaS models.
• Implementing, Configuring & Deploying SQL Reporting Services & Reports.
