Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Role: Service Engineer (Mechanical)

Location: Jharsuguda/Sambalpur, Odisha

Experience: 5 to 8 years

Industry: Aluminium/Steel

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Employment Type: Permanent

Skill Required:

1.Hands on experience on mechanical equipment troubleshooting

2. Understanding & troubleshooting of Pneumatic & Hydraulic circuits

3. Basic understanding & execution of various maintenance philosophies

4. Mechanical Machinery overhauling

5. Analysing various situation using Root cause analysis (RCA) & Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA)

6. Preparation of Standard Operating/Maintenance Procedure (SOP/SMP)

7. Assessing risk associated with site activities & preparing detailed HIRADEC

8. Hands on experience on Aluminium smelter equipments (PTM, FTA, GAP) is preferable


Duties and Responsibilities

1.To provide Technical Support to customers for Products
2. On-Site Diagnostics and Service Calls
3. Visiting client sites and performing upgrades, tests, and diagnostics
4. To keep adequate and up-to-date reports that outline problems they've resolved and how they fixed an issue
5. Availability to travel
6. Analyse the customer site situation, assemble information from the customer regarding the open issues, and assemble a plan to remedy the same
7. Manage time on-site to meet project expectations. This may include re-organizing tasks to meet site conditions
8. Function in accordance with Fives safety standards
9. Supporting external and internal sales opportunities
