Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Manual Device Tester with 5 to 8 years of hands-on testing experience to ensure the quality and reliability of medical devices. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong testing skills, and the ability to develop and execute manual test cases based on product requirements. Experience with medical devices and compliance standards will be considered an added advantage to ensure our products meet regulatory and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Manual Device Tester with 5 to 8 years of hands-on testing experience to ensure the quality and reliability of medical devices. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong testing skills, and the ability to develop and execute manual test cases based on product requirements. Experience with medical devices and compliance standards will be considered an added advantage to ensure our products meet regulatory and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for electronic and potentially medical devices.
- Perform manual testing of hardware and embedded software to validate functionality, performance, safety, and usability.
- Document test results meticulously, identify issues, and work closely with engineering teams for defect resolution.
- Participate in requirement reviews to understand testing needs and ensure coverage.
- Assist in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of device issues or failures.
- Maintain test documentation in accordance with quality management system requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Support regulatory compliance activities by providing thorough test documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, QA, and regulatory teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of electronic or hardware devices.
- Strong understanding of device operation, hardware, firmware, and embedded systems testing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with test equipment and tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and debugging tools.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and quality standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Prior experience in medical device testing or knowledge of medical device standards (ISO 13485, IEC 60601) is an advantage.
- Experience working in regulated environments and supporting compliance documentation.
- Ability to create and execute test protocols based on specifications.
