Job Description
- Responsible for the repair and maintenance of all facilities including plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
- Develop maintenance schedules and implement preventative maintenance procedures to minimize downtime.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for larger maintenance projects.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and tenants.
- At least 5 years of experience in facility maintenance or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.
