Role Overview

Sobha Limited is seeking a Lean Manufacturing & Prefab Strategy Manager to industrialize construction by integrating lean manufacturing, off-site prefabrication, and process excellence practices. The role will focus on transforming site-based construction activities into scalable, factory-driven systems to improve productivity, quality, and predictability.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze existing construction processes and break them into repeatable, standardized units
Identify opportunities to shift activities from site to factory (prefab / modular / assemblies)
Design manufacturing workflows for slabs, walls, facades, stairs, pods, MEP assemblies, and interior components
Develop factory layouts, workstations, material flow, and quality checkpoints
Deploy Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, VSM, Kanban, Standard Work)
Implement pull systems for raw material, WIP, and finished goods
Define and track KPIs such as OEE, throughput, yield, and defect rates
Collaborate with design, planning, procurement, and site teams to embed a factory mindset
