Role Overview

We are looking for a Lead Robotics Engineer who will take ownership of the design, development, and

integration of complete robotic systems. In a startup environment, this role requires a hands-on engineer

who can architect robotic systems, lead technical development, and guide the team through system-level

challenges from concept to deployment.

Location: Kondapur, Hyderabad

Experience: 2-4 Years

Key Responsibilities:

Robotics System Design & Architecture

Design and define the overall robotics system architecture including perception, control,
planning, hardware interfaces, and AI modules.
Translate product requirements into technical specifications and system-level design.
Make key engineering decisions on sensors, compute, control systems, and robotics
frameworks.

Hands-on Robotics Development

Develop and integrate robotics software including robot control, perception pipelines,
navigation, and system integration.
Work with robotics frameworks such as ROS/ROS2, simulation environments, and hardware
interfaces.
Contribute directly to prototyping, debugging, and performance optimization of robotic
systems.

System Integration & Testing

Lead the integration of mechanical, electrical, and software components.
Develop testing strategies, validation processes, and debugging workflows.
Ensure system reliability through iterative testing in simulation and real-world environments.

Technical Leadership

Provide technical direction and mentorship to robotics engineers and interns.
Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and system design discussions.
Help the team solve complex robotics engineering problems.

Project Planning & Execution

Break down product goals into engineering tasks and development milestones.
Coordinate development efforts across robotics, AI, hardware, and embedded teams.
Drive projects from concept → prototype → deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in robotics development.
Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++
Experience with ROS/ROS2 and robotics software development.
Familiarity with robot simulation tools (Gazebo, Isaac Sim, Mujoco, etc.).
Good understanding of robot kinematics, control systems, sensors, and system integration.
Ability to debug and work across hardware software interfaces.
