Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Frontend Developer (React) to design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable user interfaces. The role focuses on building robust, reusable components and delivering performant web applications while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across the application stack.

The Opportunity

UST is looking for a Frontend Developer (React) who is passionate about modern UI development and enterprise-grade applications. You will work on cutting-edge technologies to create intuitive, maintainable, and high-performing frontend solutions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Develop new user-facing features using React.js (18+) and Node.js
Build reusable components and frontend libraries for future use
Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, maintainable code
Implement state management using Redux Toolkit, Flux, or React Query
Optimize components for maximum performance across browsers and devices
Ensure application robustness, scalability, and maintainability
Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and infrastructure teams
Participate in code reviews and contribute to UI best practices

What You Need

Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
Solid understanding of component-based architecture and state management
Experience working in collaborative, Agile development environments
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Commitment to building quality, user-centric products

Required Skills

React.js (18+)
TypeScript
Redux Toolkit / Flux / React Query
Material UI (MUI) or Ant Design
CSS-in-JS (Emotion / Styled Components)
Node.js

Desired Skills

Experience with enterprise-scale frontend applications
Knowledge of performance optimization and cross-browser compatibility
Familiarity with modern build tools and CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of accessibility (a11y) standards

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
