Job Description
Job Description Position Title, Responsibility Level: Lead Quality Analyst, B2 Employment Type: Permanent Location: Chennai Job Summary: We are looking for a highly experienced Test Lead with 9 to 12 years expertise in Playwright and Python to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications. Essential Functions: Develop robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation solutions. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Identify, document, and track software defects and work closely with development teams to resolve issues. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to define test strategies and objectives. Perform functional, regression, performance, and API testing. Troubleshoot issues in test scripts and automation frameworks. Continuously improve automation processes and ensure best practices in testing. Collaboration and Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and raise any concerns or blockers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of testing activities. Requirements: 9 to 12 years of experience in automation testing. Expertise in Playwright for web automation testing. Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation. Proven experience in developing automation frameworks from scratch. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD. Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in API testing. Strong knowledge of version control systems such as Git. Experience with test management tools like JIRA, or similar. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Familiarity with defect tracking systems, test management tools, and Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA). Skills Technical Skills Required Skills: Automation Testing (Playwright & python) Software testing, Business design/System testing Defect Root Cause Analysis Test Case, Test Strategy & Test Plan Documentation Agile process, Hands on Manual Testing, SQL Experience, Tools: Defect Management Software JIRA, Fogbugz. Skills Good to Have but not mandatory: US Healthcare Knowledge, Certifications related to software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) or equivalent experience is Process Specific Skills Delivery Domain – Product Testing – Including Web application Testing, Database Integration and Regression Testing Business Domain - US Healthcare Insurance & Payer Analytics Soft Skills Understanding of Healthcare business vertical and the business terms within Good analytical skills. Strong communication skills - oral and verbal Should be able to function as an Individual Contributor. Working Hours Shift – 12 PM to 9 PM Will be required to extend as per project delivery requirement. Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
