Job Description

Position: Contract Law & Negotiation Attorney - AI Trainer

Type: Part-time or Full-time, Contract

Compensation: $50-$150/hr

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Draft, review, and interpret commercial contracts to ensure legal accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
Develop negotiation strategies to optimize contract terms and manage counterpart expectations.
Identify and communicate legal, financial, and operational risks, recommending mitigation strategies.
Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Provide expert insights to improve AI models handling contract law and negotiation scenarios.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to translate legal knowledge into AI training materials and workflows.
Communicate complex legal concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) degree with an active license to practice law.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Contract Law Attorney focused on commercial contracts.
Proven expertise in contract drafting, review, and interpretation.
Demonstrated negotiation skills with a track record of achieving favorable outcomes.
Strong proficiency in legal risk assessment and mitigation planning.
In-depth knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks governing contractual relationships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to legal precision and detail.
