Junior Consultant - Infertility

Job Summary:

The Junior Consultant – Infertility will assist in diagnosing and managing patients with infertility issues. The role involves supporting senior consultants in clinical procedures, patient counseling, and fertility treatments such as ovulation induction, IUI, and IVF protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and manage patients presenting with infertility concerns
• Take detailed medical histories and perform physical examinations
• Assist in fertility treatment planning under senior supervision
• Monitor ovulation induction cycles and follicular studies
• Perform and/or assist in procedures such as:
• Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)
• Ultrasound monitoring (TVS)
• Support IVF/ICSI cycles, including patient preparation and follow-ups
• Interpret diagnostic tests and lab reports
• Provide counseling to patients and couples regarding treatment options, success rates, and lifestyle modifications
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and ethical standards

Qualifications:

• MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Fellowship or training in Reproductive Medicine / Infertility
• Valid medical registration in Andhra Pradesh

Skills Required:

• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in reproductive health
• Good communication and patient counseling abilities
• Empathy and sensitivity in dealing with patients
• Basic ultrasound skills (preferred)
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
