Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Junior Software Tester with 1–3 years of experience in both Manual and Automation Testing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications by identifying bugs, executing test cases, and supporting automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand project requirements and functional specifications.
  • Design, develop, and execute test cases (manual & automated).
  • Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, and System Testing.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools.
  • Work closely with developers and project teams to resolve defects.
  • Develop and maintain automation test scripts.
  • Participate in test planning and review meetings.
  • Prepare test reports and maintain test documentation.
  • Ensure software quality standards are met before release.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Software Testing concepts and STLC.
  • Hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
  • Basic knowledge of Automation tools (Selenium preferred).
  • Knowledge of Java / Python (for automation scripting).
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA or similar.
  • Understanding of SQL basics.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Exposure to API testing is an added advantage.
