Job Description:

We are building next-generation digital solutions in the EdTech domain, with a focus on creating scalable, secure, and user-friendly platforms. We are looking for a highly skilled Java Spring Boot Developer with strong backend architectural knowledge who can contribute technically and also lead and mentor a small development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
  • Architect backend systems, ensuring scalability, security, modularity, and maintainability.
  • Work on high-traffic, data-driven platforms (preferably EdTech or similar domains).
  • Lead and mentor a small development team, ensuring technical excellence and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end, QA, and DevOps to deliver robust solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into efficient technical architectures and APIs.
  • Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to architectural guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4–5 years of hands-on experience in backend development with Java & Spring Boot.
  • Strong expertise in RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and system design.
  • Proven backend architectural knowledge – including modular design, distributed systems, and integration patterns.
  • Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
  • Exposure to scalable platforms (preferably EdTech, e-learning, or high-user-load systems).
  • Experience in leading or mentoring a small development team.
  • Flexible to relocate if required.

Good to Have

  • Knowledge of React.js / Angular for full-stack contributions.
  • Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with payment gateways, video streaming, or LMS platforms.
