We deliver high-performance, production-ready microservices and integrate them with modern DevOps and observability toolchains.

Primary Title: Senior Java Backend Developer

Location: India (On-site)

Role & Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain high-throughput Java backend services and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
Implement and operate microservices patterns—service discovery, circuit breaking, API gateways, and inter-service communication.
Develop and optimize data access layers using Hibernate/JPA and relational or NoSQL databases; ensure query performance and schema evolution.
Write comprehensive unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito) and participate in code reviews to uphold code quality and maintainability.
Collaborate with product, QA and DevOps to ship features via CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Troubleshoot production issues, profile performance bottlenecks, and implement monitoring/alerting to ensure service reliability.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Strong proficiency in Java and core libraries; experience with Spring Boot and Spring ecosystem.
Proven experience building and operating microservices and RESTful APIs in production.
Hands-on with Hibernate/JPA and working knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
Containerization and orchestration experience: Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with build tools and source control: Maven/Gradle and Git; CI/CD pipeline exposure.
Test-driven development experience with JUnit and Mockito; familiarity with logging and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) is expected.

Preferred

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and deploying Java services to cloud infrastructure.
Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Performance tuning, JVM profiling, and distributed tracing experience (Jaeger, Zipkin).
