Summary
About the Role
We are looking for an IT Systems Support Specialist to support employees and IT infrastructure across our European operations.
This role blends hands-on user support with systems administration responsibilities. A significant portion of the work involves direct employee support, onboarding/offboarding, and device provisioning, while also helping maintain our core IT infrastructure including Windows servers, Microsoft 365, Azure services, and on-prem VMware environments.
The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with people, solving technical problems, and ensuring employees have reliable access to the tools they need to succeed.
This is not a purely backend infrastructure role - success in this position requires strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and a service-oriented mindset.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Employee Support & IT Service Desk

You Will
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance
- Provide in-person, phone, and remote troubleshooting
- Resolve issues related to:
- Windows operating systems
- Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365
- Hardware and peripherals
- Networking connectivity
- Web browsers and applications
- Follow up on outstanding support requests to ensure timely and complete resolution
- Assist employees with technical setup, troubleshooting, and general IT questions
You will manage the IT side of the employee lifecycle, ensuring new hires are ready to work on day one.
Responsibilities Include
- Creating and managing user accounts and access permissions
- Configuring and provisioning laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
- Preparing systems and accounts for new employee onboarding
- Ensuring secure offboarding, including access removal and device collection
- Coordinating with HR and leadership to ensure smooth transitions
- Install, configure, and maintain employee hardware and software
- Support and manage mobile phones and mobile device lifecycle
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and device tracking
- Deploy and configure endpoint devices using Intune or similar RAT utilities
In addition to end-user support, you will assist with maintaining core IT systems:
- Windows Server environments
- Active Directory and Group Policy
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Microsoft Azure services
- On-prem VMware virtualization infrastructure
- System monitoring
- Patch management
- Infrastructure troubleshooting
- Account and identity administration
Your time will generally be split between:
- 30–40% — Employee support and troubleshooting
- 20–30% — Onboarding/offboarding and device provisioning
- 40–50% — Systems administration and infrastructure support
What We're Looking For
- 2–5+ years of IT support or systems administration experience
- Experience supporting Windows environments
Experience with many of the following:
- Windows operating systems
- Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365
- Active Directory administration
- Windows Server fundamentals
- Networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Endpoint management tools (Intune, Endpoint Manager, or similar)
- VMware virtualization environments
- Mobile device platforms (Android and iOS)
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to support users with varying levels of technical knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Proactive problem solver
- Fluency in English
Nice to have but not required:
- Microsoft Azure administration
- PowerShell scripting
- Experience supporting distributed or international teams
