Monitoring Engineer

Missions/Main Duties

2–3 years of experience in NOC / Monitoring / Operations roles
Hands-on experience with monitoring tools, preferably Centreon, Nagios, Azure Monitor etc
Knowledge of application performance monitoring concepts
Experience in incident management and alert handling
Good communication and coordination skills

Good to Have

Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, or similar)
Basic database knowledge (MySQL/MariaDB, queries, performance concepts)
Exposure to ITIL-based operations

Profile/Skills

Perform 24x7 monitoring of applications, systems, and infrastructure through NOC tools
Handle application performance monitoring, alert analysis, and initial troubleshooting
Monitor system health, availability, and performance KPIs
Use Centreon for infrastructure and performance monitoring
Identify, log, and escalate incidents as per defined SLAs
Coordinate with L2/L3 teams for incident resolution
Maintain monitoring dashboards, alerts, and reports
Follow SOPs and document incidents, resolutions, and trends
