Job Description

We are hiring an experienced iOS Developer to build and scale high-performance iOS applications involving:

  • Google Maps integration and real-time location tracking
  • AR-based features using ARKit
  • Camera and media integrations
  • Third-party SDK integrations (Insta360 SDK preferred)
  • Production-grade App Store deployments

This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong architectural knowledge, performance optimization, and App Store release experience.

Required Technical Skills Core IOS Development

  • Strong proficiency in Swift
  • Solid understanding of MVVM / Clean Architecture
  • Experience with UIKit and/or SwiftUI
  • Experience with Combine or async/await
  • Dependency management using SPM / CocoaPods
  • Networking using URLSession / Alamofire
  • Local storage using CoreData / Realm
  • Strong understanding of iOS app lifecycle
  • Proper handling of permissions (Camera, Location, Microphone, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of Xcode and build configurations

Maps and Location

  • Experience with Apple Maps (MapKit) or Google Maps SDK for iOS
  • Real-time location updates and tracking optimization
  • Background location handling
  • Offline maps knowledge (bonus)

AR and Camera

  • Hands-on experience with ARKit
  • Experience with AVFoundation
  • Understanding of device motion and sensor frameworks (CoreMotion)
  • Basic understanding of Metal / SceneKit (if AR-heavy features involved)
  • Experience handling large image optimization
  • Debugging memory and performance issues using Instruments

Build and Release

  • Experience managing apps via App Store Connect
  • App Store publishing workflow
  • Provisioning profiles and code signing
  • Handling TestFlight builds
  • Crash monitoring (Firebase Crashlytics or similar)
  • CI/CD experience (Fastlane / GitHub Actions is a plus)

SDK Integration

  • Experience integrating third-party SDKs
  • Experience with Insta360 SDK is a strong plus

Candidate Profile

  • Must have shipped at least one app to the App Store
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Experience optimizing app performance
  • Comfortable working in a product-driven environment
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership
  • Prior startup experience preferred
