Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION : Preparation of all quality documents for the customer. Analysis of rejection of castings and take remedial action. To ensure process quality in all operations in the manufacture of castings.

MAJOR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY :

To prepare all quality related documents as per the requirement of customer and ensure the same reaches on time.
To organise and conduct third party inspection including customer inspection of castings as per the specification.
To handle customer complaints and resolve them.
To visit customer and resolve there complaints.
To analyse foundry and customer rejection ( as a team ) and resolve them.
To scrap defective casting ( decision taken as a team ).
Prepare data / records of analysis of foundry and customer rejection.
Prepare Rejection Casting Analysis ( RCA ) report.
Conduct training program for operators.
To report to superiors regarding deviation in specification if any.
To coordinate and conduct NDT test on castings as per requirement.
To conduct Tensile test and Impact test.
To ensure that audit inspection of castings is done as per audit plan.
To visit the shop floor on a daily basis and inspect the deviation noted on partially fettled castings and clear the same or quarantine it for further action.
To maintain all necessary records.
To maintain all quality records.
To inspect raw materials and consumables related to your department. and sign in the GRV.
To bring to the attention of the superiors regarding poor quality raw material and consumable.
Attend meetings as planned and share all relevant information .
To maintain and follow ISO documents and procedures.
Any other responsibility as given by the superior officer.
