About the Company

Louis A. Roser Company is a leading provider of industrial refrigeration engineering, design, installation, and service. We deliver high-quality solutions to industrial clients across diverse sectors, with a strong commitment to Process Safety Management, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

The Role

We’re looking for an IT Operations Support professional to join our small but capable IT team on-site in Salt Lake City. This is a hands-on role where you’ll split your time between frontline helpdesk support for staff and assisting with systems administration across our core platforms. You’ll gain real-world experience across a broad technology stack in an industrial environment—ideal for someone early in their IT career who wants exposure to more than just ticket work.

What You’ll Do

•      Provide day-to-day helpdesk support for staff: troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues

•      Assist with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration, including user lifecycle management, licensing, and security policies

•      Support on-premises Active Directory and basic networking infrastructure (switches, Wi-Fi, VPN)

•      Help maintain endpoint security tooling (Huntress) and ensure devices meet compliance standards

•      Troubleshoot and support printers, peripherals, VoIP phone systems, and other office technology

•      Assist with NetSuite and other line-of-business application support as needed

•      Document procedures, maintain IT knowledge base articles, and help improve internal processes

What We’re Looking For

Required:

•      Foundational knowledge of IT support practices: Windows administration, networking basics (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP), and general troubleshooting methodology

•      Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory concepts

•      Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset—you’ll be the face of IT for many staff

•      Ability to work on-site in Salt Lake City, UT (20–30 hours/week with some scheduling flexibility)

•      Willingness to provide occasional on-call or after-hours support as needed

•      Must pass a background check and drug screening

Preferred (but not required):

•      1–2 years of IT support experience (internships, campus IT, or prior helpdesk roles count)

•      Exposure to endpoint security tools, ERP systems (NetSuite a plus), or VoIP administration

•      Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

•      Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft fundamentals) are a bonus

Why This Role

This isn’t a “reset passwords and close tickets” job. You’ll work directly alongside our IT lead and get meaningful exposure to identity management, endpoint security, networking, ERP administration, and more. If you’re a student or early-career professional looking to build a broad IT skillset in a real-world environments, this is a great opportunity.
